Announcements!

-Congratulations to everyone that participated in State Solo and Ensemble this Weekend! I heard great things from your voice teachers!

Disney

-Tonight is our last Disney rehearsal from 6:30-8:30pm. We will be auditioning for Solos and and getting our places on the risers.

-Following the meeting from 8:30-9pm we will go over the student handbook.

SPRING BREAK IS ALMOST HERE! HANG IN THERE!

Announcements


- State Solo and Ensemble: Starts today at Walled Lake Central High School. Please plan on an hour and half travel time. Break a Leg Everyone!!

- Disney Itinerary: I have posted an updated Disney Itinerary on the choir blog. It has exact days and times and where we will be located.

- Disney Rehearsal: We have one more Disney Rehearsal: Tuesday March 30 from 6:30-8:30pm. Following the rehearsal there will be a student and parent meeting. We will go over all the rules in regards to the trip!

- Disney Forms are due by Wed. March 31. We cannot accept them a day later.

-State Choral Festival is Thursday, April 22nd. I have requested for times during the school day but it is possible we may get an evening time. Mark your calendars now!

Announcements!

- State Solo and Ensemble is this weekend at Walled Lake Central High School. Students are responsible for getting themselves there on time. (est. drive time is 1 hour 30min). Mr. Snell will be unable to attend this weekend. Good luck to everyone!! Each student was sent home with a packet of information, I have posted a copy of the letter here on the blog.


- Disney Rehearsal: Tonight from 6:30-8pm. Be early!!

- Disney Forms: Do not forget to turn in your Disney forms (the tan and blue sheet) by next Wednesday.

-Disney Handbook. Make sure you read through the handbook.

State Choral Festival will be here before we know it: Mark your calendar for April 22nd.

CONGRATULATIONS FIDDLER CAST AND CREW ON A WONDERFUL SHOW!!!!

State Solo and Ensemble: I have received the state schedule, but my home computer will not let me upload it on the blog for some reason. All of your voice teachers have been emailed the schedule and know your times. I will have further information for you on Tuesday.

Disney Trip: Our Disney trip is only two weeks away! This week rehearsals start. Tonight, Monday, March 22 we have our first chaperone meeting in the Band Room starting at 6:30pm.

Tuesday, March 23: We have our first choir rehearsal in the Choir Room from 6:30-8pm

Thursday, March 25: Is our next rehearsal from 6:30-8pm.

FIDDLER ON THE ROOF OPENS TONIGHT!!

The curtain will rise at JCC's Baughman Theater at 7:30pm. Tickets will be available for purchase at the door.

- Disney is quickly approaching! If you have not contacted Mr. Snell in regards to your student account you must do it no later than Friday, March 19.

- Parent Chaperone Meeting: Monday, March 22nd @6:30pm in the HS Band Room

-Disney Concert Choir Rehearsal: The students were sent home with a rehearsal schedule. Their first rehearsal is Tuesday, March 23 from 6:30-8pm.


Fiddler on the Roof!

- Sell, Sell, Sell....we need you to sell tickets. Student tickets go on sale during lunch today and are $5.

-Fiddler on the Roof is this weekend Thur-Sat. @ JCC Baughman Theater. The curtain rises at 7:30pm.

- Still no word on the State Solo and Ensemble Schedule. As soon as we receive it, we will get it out to the students.


- Disney Information: Believe it or not Disney is less than a month away. Fundraising Money has been sent to New Horizons for all the students that have asked for it. If you need money sent on your behalf contact Mr. Snell: msnell@nwschools.org

- Disney Chaperone Meeting:

Time: 6:30-7:30 pm
Where: HS Band Room
Discussion: Itinerary, handbook, policies, etc.

-Disney Rehearsals: Everyone performing at Disney must attend the following after school rehearsals:
Tuesday, March 23: 6:30-8:00pm
Thursday, March 25: 6:30-8:00pm
Tuesday, March 30: 6:30-8:30 pm

-Tickets are on Sale: I have attached an ad form to the blog. Any choir student may receive extra credit for every 5 tickets they sell to the show!

-Rehearsal tonight is from 7-9pm we will begin with Act 2 and go back to Act 1

Exam Week!

Announcements!

- It is exam week. Make sure you come prepared to class. Thursday and Friday this week are both half days.


- This is a last call for all unclaimed food platters from the Pre-Festival Concert. Make sure you take your platter home, before it vanishes.


- State Solo and Ensemble: Many of you are asking for your times, we have yet to receive the State S&E schedule.


Fiddler on the Roof

- The show is quickly approaching. Make sure you are double checking your schedule with your work schedule. From now on you cannot miss any rehearsals!

-Tonight we rehearse Act 2 from 7-9pm. LEARN THOSE LINES!

-6:30 pm To Lifer's are meeting to go over their blocking.

-Friday, March 5th we have a full cast rehearsal from 7-9pm.

-T-Shirt Order Forms. We are submitting the orders today. Make sure you get your form in!

- Ad Sales. Sally has extended the deadline on Ad Sales. Make sure you get your Mandatory $75 turned in!

-Tickets are now on Sale. If you wish to order tickets you may come to the high school choir room from 7-9pm (during rehearsals) or you may call 517-784-1273. Tickets are $12 for Adults, $10 for Senior Citizens, and $8 for students. The show is March 18-20 @ 7:30 pm at JCC's Baughman Theatre.
